McGowan Joins F&M Trust’s Investment & Trust Services Department

John C. McGowan

Officials at F&M Trust announced that John C. McGowan, Investment & Trust Services Relationship Manager, has joined the bank’s Investment & Trust Services Department. 
 
McGowan has over twenty-five years of trust, investment and financial planning experience. During his career, he has served as Trust Officer, Financial Consultant, Private Banking Officer, Financial Advisor and Private Investment Counselor at several banks and financial firms. Most recently he was a wealth manager in the Investment Group at M&T Bank. At F&M Trust, McGowan will be responsible for providing trust, administration, investment, as well as estate and retirement services to clients of the bank’s Investment & Trust Services department. His office will be located in the bank’s Camp Hill Office on Market Street, and he will also meet with clients and prospects at their home or place of business. 
 
A graduate of the St. Joseph’s University, McGowan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He also graduated from the Central Atlantic School of Trust, a three-year school on trust administration, fiduciary and personal income tax, trust operations, and trust investments at Bucknell University. McGowan is currently studying for his Certified Financial Planner designation through American College. He holds licenses for FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65, as well as Pennsylvania Life Insurance.
 
            A resident of Camp Hill, McGowan is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Central Pennsylvania.
