Weller Recognized by PBA for 40 Years of Service

     (Harrisburg, PA) N. Joy Weller, Vice President and Financial Services Manager at F&M Trust, was recognized for serving 40 years in the banking industry at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PBA) Group 5 meeting held on April 21 at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey, Harrisburg. 

     Weller recently achieved the 40-year milestone in the banking industry at F&M Trust. She was among a group of ten bankers from PBA Group 5 member banks to join the 40-Year Club, which consists of bankers completing 40 or more years of service in Pennsylvania’s banking industry. 
 
     Weller began her banking career in 1970 at the Mont Alto State Bank, prior to the transition to an F&M Trust Community Office, as a customer service teller. She then was promoted to customer service representative and served as the bank’s cashier. In 1991, Weller was named executive vice president and she served on the Mont Alto State Bank board of directors from 1992-95. She was named the community office manager of the Mont Alto Office and vice president in 1995.
 
     Since 1999 she has served as community office manager at the bank’s West Side Office, where her responsibilities include customer service and business development, consisting of deposit services and consumer and mortgage lending. Her duties also include helping to meet customer’s financial needs with a variety of services not solely limited to loan and deposit products. 
 

     A graduate of the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking at Bucknell University, and the Omega Consumer Lending program, she completed various courses offered through the American Institute for Banking (AIB). A native of Mont Alto, Weller resides in the Chambersburg area with her husband. Over the years she has volunteered and served non-profit organizations including Friends of the Coyle Free Library and the Frances Leiter Center.
