Appleby to Manage F&M’s Consumer Lending Services
(Chambersburg, PA) Kristen G. Appleby has joined F&M Trust as Assistant Vice President - Consumer Lending Manager.
Appleby joins F&M Trust with more than 15 years of experience in both the real estate and banking industries. She began her banking career as a financial services representative before becoming an indirect consumer loan underwriter with a local bank in Maryland. Appleby then embarked on a career in real estate as a licensed REALTOR serving both Maryland and Pennsylvania. In 2009, she returned to banking as a loan underwriter. Most recently, she was a consumer loan manager.
At F&M Trust, she will assist in developing new consumer lending services and strategies to enhance loan production. In addition to managing the consumer loan production area, she will also serve as sales manager for the consumer loan origination function where she is responsible for hiring, managing, and coaching the bank’s consumer lenders to attain loan production goals and development new business.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Appleby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. She has completed numerous courses offered by the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association (PBA) and the American Institute of Banking (AIB).
