Berger joins F&M Trust as Management Trainee
(Chambersburg,
PA) - Matthew W. Berger recently joined
F&M Trust as a management trainee.
Berger joins F&M Trust with over 4 years of experience
in the financial services industry having most recently worked as small
business services representative for a card merchant service provider.He served as a financial analyst during his
college years, and subsequently worked as a senior equities trader on Wall
Street.At F&M Trust, he will be
participating in an extensive training program that will focus on commercial
services, investment and trust, retail banking services including consumer
lending and retail management, and risk management as well as a general
overview of the bank’s service and support areas.
A
graduate of the Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business,
Berger earned a bachelors degree in finance/accounting with a minor in business
law.He served as a member of his
fraternity’s executive board and as treasurer. Berger has co-chaired fund
raising events to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund as well as
launched an annual volleyball tournament to benefit research of blood-related
cancers. A
native of Greencastle, Berger currently resides in Waynesboro.
