Luo joins F&M Trust as portfolio manager
(CHAMBERSBURG, PA) Officials at F&M Trust Company announced
that DavidYi Luo, Chartered
Financial Analyst, has joined the bank’s Investment & Trust ServicesDepartment as Portfolio Manager.
Joining the bank with over 10 years of financial services
experience, Luo began his career as a financial analyst intern at Morrison Informatics
in Mechanicsburg. He has also worked as an equity analyst for SMG Fund at
Boston University, financial analyst for Friendly’s Ice Cream Corporation, and
most recently at National Grid USA in New York where he was a senior financial
analyst. As Investment & Trust Services Portfolio Manager, Luo is
responsible for investment research; portfolio construction and maintenance for
individuals, corporations and non-profit organizations; 401(k) plan investment
options; and securities trading activities.He will also make group presentations on investment management.
Having graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Quantitative Economics and magna cum
laude with a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, Luo earned
his MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from BostonUniversity. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)designation andisamember of the CFA
Institute. A resident of Carlisle, he has been active in Habitat For Humanityaswell as hischurch.
