Peltzer joins F&M Trust as Vice President - Commercial Services Relationship Manager

Barbara L. Peltzer has joined F&M Trust as a Vice President - Commercial
Services Relationship Manager.
Peltzer has over 15 years of commercial banking experience.She began her banking career at First Union
Bank in Philadelphia through the credit training program for commercial
relationship managers.She has served as
a commercial loan underwriting officer, commercial loan officer, and most
recently as vice president – commercial relationship manager at Cape Bank in
Cape May Court House, New Jersey. At F&M Trust, Peltzer will be responsible
for actively pursuing new lending opportunities as well as developing
commercial banking relationships with new and existing businesses in Cumberland
County. Her office will be located in the bank’s new Mechanicsburg Office at
Silver Creek Plaza on the Pike when it opens later this year. She will also meet with commercial customers
at the bank’s community banking offices as well as at customer’s place of
business.
Peltzer earned a bachelor of science degree and master’s degree in
business administration from La Salle University.She has completed various banking and
financial service courses at the American Bankers Association (ABA) National
Commercial Lending School in association with the Southwestern Graduate School
of Banking hosted at Southern Methodist University's prestigious Cox School of
Business in Dallas, Texas.
Having recently moved to Mechanicsburg, Peltzer plans to get
involved in serving on community organizations, civic events and service clubs.
In the Cape May area, Peltzer served as president of the Middle Township
Chamber of Commerce, on the board of Cape Assist – a drug and alcohol
prevention program for students, and was a member of the Mid Jersey Cape Rotary
Club.
