Savings Account Options
When you are putting money away for the future and using it to earn additional money, look to F&M Trust for solutions to your savings and investing needs. Putting your money in the right account can make a real difference in your financial future. Whether you’re saving for major purchases, vacations, college tuition, or retirement, you’ll find a variety of savings products and investments that will work hard for you to reach your goals.
Money Management -- F&M Trust's Money Management Account gives you the flexibility and liquidity of a bank money market account, paying a competitive rate of interest changing periodically to reflect market conditions.
Certificates of Deposit -- For short-term vacation plans or lifelong investing, Certificates of Deposit (CDs) offer maturity periods from 30 days to 5 years for predictability in income and interest. Combining security with greater earning potential, CDs generally return higher rates of interest than savings or money market deposit accounts.
Individual Retirement Account (IRA) -- Save for retirement while deferring tax liability. Whether IRA contributions are deductible depends upon an individual's income, filing status, type of IRA, and
coverage under an employer's qualified plan. We offer IRA Certificates
of Deposit and Savings Accounts as well as other alternatives (non-FDIC
insured investments) through F&M Investment Services.
Health Savings Account (HSA) -- A Health Savings Account can be a great compliment to a High Deductible Health Plan, offering a way to set aside funds to pay for today and tomorrow's medical expenses.
Investor Savings -- This account is perfect for the saver who is just starting out or anyone
who wants easy access to their money. You can make deposits as often as
you wish and can withdrawal or transfer money at ATMs or any F&M
Trust Community Office.
Young Savers Account -- Especially designed for young persons under age 18, the account helps
them learn the importance of savings with no minimum balance or monthly service fee.
