How Secure is Online Banking?

An outstanding feature of this system is its multiple security levels. Simply stated, F&M Trust's Online Banking uses a combination of the latest security technologies to protect data. To get more technical, our system features password-controlled entry, authentication, and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol for data encryption and state-of-the-art firewall protection. Regulation E applies to Online Banking just like our Debit MasterCard® and liability on unauthorized electronic transactions is limited to $50.00 for transactions that are reported in a timely manner.

How secure is Mobile Banking?

Just like our Online Banking, we use the same 128-bit encryption to help keep your information safe and secure. F&M Trust's Mobile Banking App does not store any personal or account information on your mobile device.

How to Protect Yourself

  • Monitor your account activity closely for any purchases that may be unauthorized. if you identify an unauthorized transaction, call us immediately.
  • We encourage you to check your credit report at least annually at
  • Use passwords that are not easy to guess, and use numbers and symbols when you can.
  • Safeguard your personal information, like your birthdate and Social Security Number. Ask questions before sharing your personal information such as why it's needed, how will it be protected and the consequences of not sharing it.
  • Do not respond to emails and other messages that ask for personal information.
  • Do not put personal information on a computer in a public place.

Lost or Stolen Debit Card

If your card is lost or stolen, contact us immediately at the appropriate number:

MasterCard® debit card, including YourWay Card, Franklin Busine$$Card, or HSA Card.

Please visit the nearest F&M Trust Community Office or Contact Us to request a new card.

How do I activate my new card?

You can activate your new F&M Trust card by completing a transaction at an ATM or merchant using your PIN. Additionally, you may call our Freedom Access Center at (717) 261-3662 and select option 6 to activate your card.

Fraud Prevention Tools

F&M Trust is strongly committed to your financial security and offers the following tools to ensure that you can use your debit and credit cards with confidence:

  • SecurLOCK Equip: SecurLOCK is a free mobile app that allows customers to manage and monitor card transaction activity. With the app, you can control how, when and where your F&M Trust card is used by simply turning it on or off. For Apple devices, download the app from the Apple Store. For Android devices, download the app from the Google Play Store. Once the app has been downloaded onto your smartphone, you can register your F&M Trust card(s).
  • F&M Trust Fraud Center: Through this free service, we contact you immediately via text, email and phone, if we suspect fraudulent activity on your account. Customers are automatically enrolled in this service as part of our fraud protection services. To ensure that you are alerted if fraud is suspected, make sure your contact information is up to date.
